Behind the Drop: Co-Creating the Glazed Heart Range with SUNBAE 💖

SUNBAE is officially dropping its first collection this August (!!) and I’m so hyped to share how it all came together. I joined The Glow Co back in May to help co-create the Glazed Heart Drop and honestly, it’s been the coolest experience ever.
We started by building out the vibe, looking at garment shapes, colour mood boards, and vintage inspo from old-school teen brands like Ton Sur Ton and Naff Naff. We were all about those bold, playful colours with contrast embroidery, keeping it fresh but still comfy. The whole collection is built on SUNBAE’s signature oversized OFFLINE Hoodie & Shorts, which I’m obsessed with.
One of my favourite combos we worked on was poppy red with bright pink embroidery, it just pops. We also wanted something that could take you into autumn, so we added a matching Wide Leg Sweat Pant... that’s now known as the GLOW Sweat Pant, and it's seriously a vibe.
After finalising the designs and spec sheets, they got sent off to the factories. A few weeks later, the samples came back. We tested the fits, checked embroidery strike-offs, and picked the final fleece colours. And just like that, the Glazed Heart range was born!
Planning the Shoot 📸
Next up was the photoshoot. We wanted it to feel super chill- like a proper off-duty hangout with your best mates. Think: making pizzas, lounging around, laughing way too much. We found the perfect house in Suffolk (seriously, Pinterest vibes), and since it was only 20 mins from Southwold beach, we shot some sunny content there for SS25 too.
The whole trip was SO fun and we ended up using loads of the content to help shape SUNBAE’s website and social posts.

I never thought I’d be 17 and helping design an actual fashion range... but here we are 💫
